Music from the Heart

Just because you are not a musician that doesn’t mean that you can’t express an honest critique of music. If you’re a fan of a certain type of music, there’s a good chance you’re very knowledgeable about that genre; and even if you aren’t a fan of that type of music, you can certainly say what you like or dislike about it.

All critics represents the opinion of individual, no more, no less. But to be a fair, honest, and knowledgeable critic will set you apart – and you don’t even need to play an instrument to qualify.

Callalily Band

Last January 26th, the Callalily Band had a concert at Paseo de Iloilo, Diversion Road, Mandurriao Iloilo. The concert was filled with crowd, cheering, fantasizing, throwing love notes and even singing along with the band. The night was very joyful and promising as well as the band but what stand out was the lead singer Kean Edward Cipriano who made the crowd especially the girls go wild. I would say that the concert really didn’t compare to the other. The music was less serious unlike to those other band that solely playing with a least crowd cheering. Something about this year’s concert  didn’t  seem to be stressful, and might be the fact that we were so excited seeing them. However, I don’t think I will ever be excited when Parokya ni Edgar will be having there concert. I like them too but the way they play their music was not really good to me not that I bias the Callalily Band  but the truth that i found the latter as very interesting to hear as well as to see. It seems that they are pleasing because they are good looking and because there band speaks to it.

I really enjoy the majority of the song even sometimes I’m not really that familiar to the lyrics but i find myself interested. I loved watching Callalily perform though at a time I heard the song “Magbalik” one too many times at Fm station. It sounded really cool and very straight to the heart because it’s in a Tagalog language pertaining to couples who broke up and wanted to reconcile again. It was the song the crowd had requested to be played.

This concert really show how much the  mates are needed to get all the attention and likes of the crowd and also the tech crews to get all of the lights, lasers and all other mechanical things working in times of the performance. They seemed to be the Kings at that night because they owned the crowd.

We really can’t eradicate the fact that the talent can brought us to where we wanted to be and to put an excellent show. They ended their performance by singing their latest song “Di Ako Bitter” in honor for their 10 years in music industry and as well as to their fans.
